This Studio Policy sets forth the standards and expectations to help all of my students learn in an organized manner. Please review this Studio Policy, let me know if you have any questions, and sign below or let me know by text or email that you understand this document. Thank you!

SCHEDULE

Vacation Periods for 2025 and 2026 (no lessons during these periods)

Nov. 23 through Nov. 30 (2025)

Dec. 21 through Jan. 4 (2026)

Feb. 15 through Feb. 22 (2026)

April 19 through April 26 (2026)

Aug. 16 through Aug. 31 (2026)

PAYMENT

There are two options for lesson scheduling and payment: Monthly or Weekly.

1. The Monthly Option

  • This option reserves the same day and time on my schedule for weekly lessons.
    • Tuition for each month is determined by the number of lessons in the month. An invoice will be sent on the 15th of each month for the next month’s tuition.
    • Payment is due on the first of the month.
    • Tuition will be prorated for any students starting mid-month.
    • There may be an additional charge for travel.

Per-Lesson Rates:

30-minute lesson – $25

45-minute lesson – $37.50

60-minute lesson – $50

Make-Up Lessons and Refunds for Monthly Lessons:

  • No refund will be given for any lesson missed by the student.
    • A make-up lesson may be offered within a week of the missed lesson, depending on the teacher’s availability, but this is not guaranteed. 
    • If the teacher misses a lesson, the student is entitled either to a credit equal to the per-lesson rates above, or to a make-up lesson.

Stopping Monthly Lessons:

  • If a student decides to stop taking lessons, I require notice on or before the 15th day of the current month.
    • If notice is given on or before the 15th day of the current month, then a refund of any fees paid for the next month will be refunded.
    • If notice is not given on or before the 15th of the current month, then no refund will be given.
    • All unpaid fees must be paid prior to termination of lessons.

2. The Weekly Option (available for all months)

  • This option does not ensure having the same day and time each week for lessons.
    • Lessons are scheduled week-to-week according to my availability.
    • Weekly lesson payments expected to be made during or before each lesson’s day and time.
    • There may be an additional charge for travel.

Per-Lesson Rates:

30-minute lesson – $25

45-minute lesson – $37.50

60-minute lesson – $50

Make-Up Lessons and Refunds for Weekly Lessons:

  • If I am given notice of 24 hours or more about a lesson cancellation, a refund will be given if a fee was paid for the lesson. If less than a 24 hours’ notice or no notice is given for a lesson cancellation, then a fee is owed.
    • If the teacher misses a lesson, the student is entitled either to a credit equal to the per-lesson rates above, or to a make-up lesson.
