- Notes: The Lincoln Festival Chorus, under the direction of Anthony Antolini, and accompanied by Sean Fleming, presents its annual summer concerts on August 12th and 14th at 7:30 pm. Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Dona Nobis Pacem” will be performed with the DaPonte String Quartet, pianist Sean Fleming, soprano Suzanne Nance, and bass John David Adams. Written in 1936, “Dona Nobis Pacem” is Vaughan Williams’ stirring plea for peace following World War I and with Germany, Italy and Spain pushing Europe toward World War II.
